Trades to recover

Comebacks are boring by design

There is no fast, safe way to rebuild a rekt account — only small risk, a real edge, and patience compounding over many trades. This tool sets a realistic trade count so you stop chasing a hero trade. Confirm your edge on the trade expectancy calculator.

The honest path back from a blowup

After losing 60%, you need +150% to recover — and the instinct is to get it back the way it left: fast, oversized, leveraged. The recovery plan calculator replaces that instinct with arithmetic: at a defensible 1% risk per trade and a realistic edge, how many disciplined trades does the climb actually take?

Example: $4,000 left from $10,000, targeting the way back. With a modest positive expectancy of +0.3R per trade risking 1%, you gain roughly 0.3% per trade on average — about 300 trades to +150%. At five trades a week, that's over a year. Painful to read, but it's the true price, and knowing it prevents the double-blowup that revenge sizing produces.

The alternative most people choose — doubling size to halve the time — doubles the risk of a second 60% hole, from which the required gain is +525%. Recovery mathematics punishes impatience quadratically. The plan is slow because slow is the only version that reliably arrives.
