Cost to send USDT — by network

The fee is the same whether you send $10 or $10,000 of USDT — it's a fixed transaction, not a percentage of the amount. The "% of amount" column shows how small that fee is relative to your transfer. EVM costs use a standard ERC-20/BEP-20 transfer; Tron uses a typical TRC-20 transfer to an address that already holds USDT (a brand-new address costs more). Live data, refreshed every 30s.

Which network should you use?

USDT lives on many chains, and the network — not the amount — decides the fee. Tron (TRC-20) is the most popular for transfers because it's usually a flat ~$1–3 even when Ethereum is congested. Ethereum (ERC-20) can be cents when quiet but $10–30 in a frenzy. Layer-2s and BNB Chain are often the cheapest of all. The catch: the receiving wallet or exchange must support the network you pick — send TRC-20 USDT to an ERC-20-only address and it's gone. Always match the network on both ends.
